Drinking Water and Electricity

Fresh water and electricity can be supplied at all port quays. Orders are placed by contacting Aabenraa Port.

The quays are equipped with electrical cabinets and quay power outlets with a capacity of up to 3 x 380 volt/63 ampere. Current prices are shown in the port's tariffs.

Slop Oil

Slop and other oil-containing waste is received according to applicable regulations. Delivery must be arranged with Aabenraa Port at least 24 hours before arrival. The waste is collected in 1 m³ containers, of which the first cubic meter can be delivered free of charge.

Ships pump the waste into the containers themselves, but it is also possible to have a mobile tank truck delivered to the quay. Collection is handled by Avista Oil, which transports the waste for treatment and re-refining.

Waste

All ships calling at Danish ports are required to deliver waste. However, exemptions may be granted if small quantities are involved that can be safely stored on board until delivered at a later port. Aabenraa Port has established arrangements that make it simple and environmentally sound to deliver both operational and cargo waste.

Ships that need to deliver waste must submit a Waste Notification Form prior to arrival.
